Delivery Driver
Gulfshore Life Media, Inc. is seeking a Full-time delivery driver. Driver will be delivering magazines to advertisers, bulk distribution points, hotels and newsstands for multiple magazine titles, Monday through Friday. Company vehicle will be provided.
Job duties Include, but not limited to:
-Deliver Gulfshore Life & Gulfshore Business to advertisers, bulk distribution points, newsstands and hotels on a monthly basis
-Deliver Gulfshore Life & Gulfshore Business to events as needed, this may require evening hours.
-Deliver The Naples Press to 7-Eleven stores and the airport 1x per week if needed.
-Pick-up and log returns of The Naples Press, if needed.
-Deliver WINK Hurricane Guides to Publix stores in Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties during hurricane season.
-Deliver other products that we publish to advertisers and bulk distribution points. This will include re-deliveries throughout the year.
-Routes should be loaded in the delivery vehicle the night before.
-Keep the warehouse organized and up to date.
-Put together mailings / packages as needed.
-Drop mail off at the mail house, 1 to 2 times per week.
-Drop off packages to UPS as needed.
-Help Marketing Director with event setup and breakdown as needed.
-Help keep marketing & event paraphernalia organized.
-Put away office supplies as needed.
-Provide customer service as needed when delivering magazines (answering questions)
-Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m. Possible evenings and weekends, dependent upon events.
Skills:
-Valid Florida Driver’s License.
-Must be able to use and follow routing software on a cell phone to deliver magazines on a timely basis. Occasional investigation of business addresses may be necessary.
-Must be able to physically lift heavy bundles of magazines up to 50 lbs. and/or use a hand truck with up to 100 lbs. on it.
-Must be able to climb stairs if needed at delivery sites.
-Organization – Must be able to keep the magazine warehouse organized and up to date.
-Must be able to use a pallet-jack to move pallets of magazines around the warehouse.
-Time Management – Must be able to complete routes in a timely manner while driving in a safe manner and obeying speed limits.
-Must be self-motivated to complete daily tasks without constant supervision and direction.
-Must be flexible to work some nights and weekend dependent upon events.
