MARKETING & SALES ASSISTANT
The Marketing & Sales Assistant will report to the Director of Marketing to execute all marketing related initiatives at Gulfshore Life, Gulfshore Business and The Naples Press. This includes but is not limited to sales administrative tasks, creating agendas for the weekly sales meeting, creating ad trackers for the sales team internal branding projects, market research, assisting with venue/brands cross promotion, marketing events, maintaining event/magazine delivery schedules, assisting with grassroot relations and assisting with internship program.
Tasks, Duties, Responsibilities:
● Expectation of being in the office five days a week, 9-5PM
● Assist with execution of marketing related events, partnerships, and PR events across all three brands
● Attendance at required marketing events as identified by the Director of Marketing
● Maintenance and distribution of Marketing, event magazine trackers
● Communicating and being a liaison between outside clients/sponsors, marketing team, and partners. This is in the form of email correspondence, event agreements, and weekly meetings and project schedules
● Maintaining constant contact with points of contact in terms of deadlines related to event promotion and creative briefs.
● Attendance at weekly sales meetings and create agenda, pull reports, etc
● Working with Graphic Design team and Multimedia Departments to bring marketing concepts to life. This entails invitations, web graphic images, online verbiage for social media, websites and newsletter, video recaps/promotions.
● Maintaining digital promotion schedules related to all marketing events and communicating these schedules to partners as needed.
● Providing deadlines to managers for event and promotion creative briefs
● Assist with managing, updating, and tracking posts to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Google+, and any other social platforms that we may expand to
● Manage the 3 brands social media platforms; Manage Sprout; Manage monthly/quarterly social calendars; platforms and marketing drive is updated with creative, content, menus, hours, etc. while maintaining the brand voice/DNA
● Internship Program

● Strong awareness and presence in SWFL social and event scene
● Strong awareness of various marketing/PR tactics and initiatives
● Knowledge of other departments/peers functions and job responsibilities
● Extensive understanding of social media and capabilities and its role in our marketing strategy
Skills
● At least 1 year of event/marketing/PR internship experience
● Experience and knowledge in assisting with production of events
● Digital experience (web, newsletter, social, etc.)
● Strong writing skills
● Attention to detail
● Ability to create and maintain positive and professional relationships with the team

● Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
● Strong organizational skills
● Creativity and ability to “think outside of the box” with events, promotions, marketing materials, etc.
